Keyboard shortcuts are combinations of two or more keys that you can use to perform a task that would typically require a mouse or other pointing device. Keyboard shortcuts can make it easier to work with your PC, saving you time and effort as you work with Windows and other apps. {Microsoft Windows}

Today we are talking about Windows Hotkeys or sometimes called shortcuts. More specifically Windows 8 Hotkeys. To use the Windows 8 Hotkeys you need to hold down the Windows 8 Logo key and the corresponding key. This will activate the shortcut.

We use hotkeys to work faster and be more productive while on our computer. Windows 8 is not the only program that has hotkeys. A lot of programs utilize them to save you steps while in the program. Photoshop, Paint, and Wordpad are some examples.

Here is a list of some very popular Windows 8 hotkeys. I use them several times a day. I have also made a cheat sheet you can save on your computer or print out.
