Like I said in my last post, JCPenney wasn’t finished with us yet! We were invited to a Pre-Premiere Reception at the El Capitan Theatre and it was amazing! It was raining but that didn’t stop us princesses from having a good time! I have to say the stylist was right. The clutch and blingy bracelet really did complete my look!
I really did feel like Cinderella! We braved the rain and headed over to the event. Of course we had to stop and take a picture on the Oscars staircase.
Aren’t we all gorgeous? After our pic we made our way to the El Capitan Theatre which wasn’t very fun. It was pouring and my shoes were getting soaked. That didn’t stop me from being super excited though. Finally we made it and rushed inside. I took a quick selfie:
And then followed everyone around the corner and OMG. There it was! THE dress. Oh my, it was so pretty in person. It is the dress that most little girls dreams are made of. I could have stared at it all day if I could have. I did let myself dream a little bit and imagined myself wearing it. I was quite a bit younger, skinnier, and taller but I looked amazing!
They also had some other props from the movie and it was so much fun to look at everything and then be able to remember it when you watched the movie! The attention to detail was mind boggling.
Of course the Glass Slipper was there also but unfortunately my pic got corrupted. So I only have this selfie I took with it, but trust me, it was amazing in person! I have never, ever, seen that much sparkle before!
After we spent some time upstairs with THE dress we were whisked away to the pre-party. Before we entered the room we got a peek at some of the items JCPenney has created for Cinderella. I loved the little girl glass slippers. I wanted to be little so I could wear them!
Inside the party we were able to see the outfits worn by the Evil Stepmother, Ugly Stepsisters, and the Fairy Godmother. Take a guess which one was my favorite!
Of course no party isn’t complete without a pic with good friends!
I just can’t thank JCPenney enough for such a wonderful day! It is something I will remember for the rest of my life. Don’t forget to take a look at their Cinderella goodies and bring some of the movie magic home!
