It is that time of year again and you can’t help but sigh a bit. It is not even Halloween yet but all the stores have out their holiday decorations and even us blogs are posting our holiday ideas early. It seems the holidays come so much quicker lately and all the hustle and bustle gets more hectic. The shopping, the decorating, and the food is important but what about your holiday cards?

Let me be the first to say I hate e-cards. They are so impersonal and I often think, why even bother? Now, I am not ungrateful when I get one but to me it would have been so much fun to have gotten something in the snail mail. E-mail, texting, and other technology as taken the place of good old-fashioned card sending and letter writing. I remember when I was a teenager or even a young adult that there was something so exciting about going to the mailbox and getting a letter or card. Now a days it seems like the only thing I get is bills.

If you are one of those that still like to send holiday cards how do you make them stand out from the rest? That is where PaperDirect can really help. They have darling Christmas labels and my favorite is shown above. I am a huge fan of the icy blue and the glittery snowflakes. They just seem to stand out and look so elegant. I could just imagine getting a beautiful envelope with that on it or even sending one out. It would definitely stand out among the red, green, and white you see so much of.

Another thing that would really make my card stand out would be a Christmas seal on the back. I could just imagine the recipient breaking open the seal much like Abraham Lincoln or a young school girl in the early 1800’s would do. Yeah, I am a romantic for sure and for some reason the holiday’s really bring that out more in me.

Of course you wouldn’t have to stop at just labels and seals. If you really wanted to go all out they have stationery, cards, matching envelopes, and newsletter paper. You could go all out this holiday season and stand out above the crowd.

You can socialize with PaperDirect on Facebook and Twitter.
