Food Network

Food Network Part 1 is about my Food Network addiction. The above e-card could be said by members of my family. They get tired of it being on in the bedroom or coming from the speakers of my computer. I can’t help it. Do you know how much stuff I learn from there? Stuff I will probably never, ever, ever use? Even so it is great to have the information!

In a way to try to curb my Food Network addiction I started hunting down recipe blogs and sites. Over the course of many years I probably have over 1000 recipe sites bookmarked. I would guess about 20% of them are now gone but I really don’t feel like going through them. Every week I back up my book marks so I don’t lose any. I counted down my top 10 favorites but some of you have requested more. I found some new blogs this week that made it into my favorites, plus I have some that I don’t go to every day or even every month but do make it back there on ocassion. So here are some more of my favorite sites for your enjoyment.

Also, please answer the poll question at the end. That way I will know if these posts are relevant to you or not. I never want to post stuff on here that no one is enjoying !

Fuss Free Cooking:

This is a new favorite. First I really love her site. It is classy, well thought out, and easy to navigate. When you go to sites developed this well it really makes you think about your own. She just posted a Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix that you really need to try out!

Cinnamon Spice and Everything Nice:

Another new favorite. I go to a ton of recipe blogs a week but there is something about this site that does not scream recipe blog! It is almost whimsical, and it has such a welcoming feel. I don’t know how to explain it but when I go there I stay there for awhile and just soak up the foodie goodness. Check out her Butterscotch Blondie Oatmeal Cookies.

The Kitchn:

The Kitchn is not new to me. I have been visiting it for awhile but it is always in spurts. Sometimes it will be days before I go back there and other times I there everyday looking around. Their Homemade Granola Bars is a fantastic recipe. I tried it out about a week ago and found it very easy. I added cranberries, sunflower seeds, and mini chocolate chips to mine.

Celebrating Family:

Celebrating Family is not necessarily a food blog. I actually go there for things besides recipes. But I had to share their Absolutely Perfect Dumplings post. One of my favorite dishes is Chicken and Dumplings. My Grandmother used to make it for me at least once a month during our Sunday dinners. My mom made some a few weeks ago and we used this post. They turned out perfect. If you like dumplings I highly recommend this!

Surf and Sunshine:

This recipe right HERE started me following Surf and Sunshine. To be honest I don’t visit enough. Sometimes this site is just a fleeting thought in my daily internet travels but I remember this blog. That is what makes is special. I remember the recipes and I remember the posts. It is not a blog that I put in my bookmarks, only to forget.

I hope you enjoyed our trip around food blog land today. Don’t forget to answer the poll!

Till We Dish Again,
