If you read my post a few weeks about my switching to an unlimited plan at Walmart, you will know that I was loving the plan at the time. Good news, I still am! I use my phone constantly and in the two weeks I hadn’t even used up 1.5 gb of service. That was texting, calling, playing my games ( Candy Crush addicts unite!), twittering, facebooking and any other ing you can think of. Basically I used the heck out of my phone! Thankfully Walmart Family Mobile has an amazing site and I can view my usage whenever I like. Also, they send me a text five days in advance of my bill to remind me. I love that because it reminds me to set money aside for my bill!
As you can see, I love to be on the internet. I do a lot of blogging and really, I can’t stay in the house forever. I do like to go outside every once in awhile to breath the fresh air, shop and of course eat. So I really need a phone that can keep me going when I am on the go. Walmart Family Mobile plan helps me do that! I have been a Verizon customer for years but they just aren’t doing it for me anymore. The honeymoon phase is over and I am starting to feel like I married a money sucking vortex. I know some may think I was exaggarating about my phone bill. But I wasn’t! Here is my phone bill for one month on Verizon. Also, keep in mind I haven’t used my phone since I started testing out this new cheap wireless plan.
There is a back payment of $122.00 on this bill because end of school year activities wiped me out. However, that still leaves $347.00. For 5 phones! And, if you look at the picture what do you see? Only 2 of them are smart phones. The rest are cheap little phones that make calls. I am being eaten alive with fees and not even getting good service. The family mobile plan has crazy speeds while my Verizon just goes at a snail pace. I took a video to show you what I mean: ( please forgive the shakiness, I was doing it one handed because no one was around to help.)
See? I am really loving this plan and will continue with the service until my contract is up with Verizon. Now, the only problem I have is with my phone. For someone that wants a cute little smart phone, it is perfect. But I use my phone for everything and need a lot more fuctionality. Also, texting is an issue because the keys are so small. I am most likely going to get another phone soon. However, that is a minor issue compared to all the ones I am having with Verizon.
If you have any questions, please leave them below and I will do my best to answer them!
