Discounts and Traveling

Traveling is hard and expensive. Especially when you are trying to find a fun place to go and don’t have very much money to spend. With the recession in full force a lot of families are having to sacrifice their vacations and traveling abroad is even more out of the question.

I have a bucket list. A very, very long bucket list and on it is a lot of places outside that  I would love to see. Ireland, Japan, Australia, Paris, London, and India just to name a few. However I am a single Mom with two kids, work 3 different jobs, and sometimes struggle really hard. So traveling is out of the question or so I thought. While researching cheap vacation rates I found Mega.co.uk which had some great  deals on holidays and travel.

Searching the internet is a great way to find things for your trip. From airfare to food you can find a plethora of sites. Ebags.com is a great way to find discounted suitcases and messenger bags. Make sure you check the guidelines for traveling with a laptop because there is a certain style bag you would need. Looking for soft, comfortable shoes to wear for all the walking you will be doing? Shoebuy.com has great walking shoes at a discount price. No matter where you are going there are always some great ways to get discounts on most things. If you are traveling locally make sure to check and see if they have a coupon book. We go to Ocean City quite a bit and they have a coupon book you can pick up at the visitors center. They have great coupons for food and often times we can eat pretty cheap.

Have you found awesome discounts on a trip? If so I would love to hear about it. Leave me a comment below!
