SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!! It’s here! It’s here!! My Life, Blogged has entered a galaxy far, far away and for an ENTIRE month I will be having a #MLBStarWarsEvent! How cool is this? There will be recipes, product reviews, and a little birdie told me there may be a HUGE giveaway. I am super giddy because I have been a Star Wars fan almost my entire life! Before we get to How To Make A Desktop Slideshow Background on Windows 10 let’s talk a little about Star Wars!
What better way to kick off the My Life, Blogged Star Wars Event than new #TheForceAwakens posters. They are soo awesome. Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge Darth Vader and Yoda fan. I love all the characters but those two are the ones I collect. But I am so looking forward to the new chapter, The Force Awakens and finding new heroes to root for. And of course root for the originals too. I just can’t believe it is almost here.
I have had some of you ask why I post the posters. What can you do with them? It is not like they are real posters. Some of you find it kind of weird. It’s okay, we all know I am a little weird so I understand. I have found the best thing to do with the posters is make them desktop backgrounds. On Windows 10 you can make animated desktop backgrounds. It is really, really easy and I will show you how!
How To Make A Desktop Slideshow Background
First you need to create a new folder in your pictures folder and name it anything you want. Then download the posters and save them to that folder. You can get the posters here:
You can find your pictures folder in your file explorer.
Right click on your desktop and then choose PERSONALIZE.
After you click personalize you will set up your slideshow with the following settings. Of course you can change the time and size to anything you want.
Album– This is the folder that you saved in your pictures folder. Just click browse, find the folder, and then choose this folder.
Choose times to change pictures– I did every 1 minute.
Choose your size– I use fit so it has the black background and I can see my folders on my desktop real good.
If you are a more visual person here is a small video I did of the process.
